100 is a magic number. It is simultaneously substantial, modest and complete. It looks and smells good. You can proudly bring it home to show your family and then spend an evening in darker quarters exploring its varied and flexible pleasures. Thus, we celebrate this number; living with it and living by it.
Everything is complete at 100. Never want more, never except less.
Featuring:
• 100 prints (by various artists from Canada, Belgium, Japan, New York, Philippines - Curated by Jeff Garcia & Jan Avandano)
• a film made for under $100 (Tex Mex Wolfman by Winston Hacking & Andrew Zukerman)
• a fire from 100 sticks
• 100 imagined autobiographies (add your autobiography to the canon)
• 100 broken, repaired & heard records (by you!)
• 100 sq ft collage (by you!)
• 100 one dollar art grants
In honor of the honesty & purity of 100 we will spend only $100 on this exhibit and all receipts will be visible for all to see as part of the show.
We need YOUR help in realizing this exhibit, for you are our 1 in 100!
100 ONE DOLLAR ART GRANTS

As part of the exhibit we have 100 one dollar art grants available. First 100 applicants will be accepted!
HOW IT WORKS:
Come down to F13 and fill out a proposal to create a piece of art for under a dollar. Bring in your piece between APRIL 13 – 17 and we will reimburse you upon successful delivery with a shiny loonie. Your piece will be auctioned off at the closing party on APRIL 17th by a professional auctioneer, Mark Taaffe, and the proceeds will go toward the development of F13 Gallery and Halo Halo Screen Printing Studio.
