100 is a magic number. It is simultaneously substantial, modest and complete. It looks and smells good. You can proudly bring it home to show your family and then spend an evening in darker quarters exploring its varied and flexible pleasures. Thus, we celebrate this number; living with it and living by it.
Everything is complete at 100. Never want more, never except less.
THE EXHIBIT FEATURES:
• 100 prints (by various artists from Canada, Belgium, Japan, New York, Philippines – Curated by Jeff Garcia & Jan Avandano)
• A film made for under $100 (Tex Mex Wolfman by Winston Hacking & Andrew Zukerman)
• A fire from 100 sticks
• 100 imagined autobiographies (add your autobiography to the canon)
• 100 broken, repaired & heard records (by you!)
• 100 sq ft collage (by you!)
• 100 one dollar art grants
In honor of the honesty & purity of 100 we will spend only $100 on this exhibit and all receipts will be visible for all to see as part of the show.
